The happy purple and white flowers of Native Violets against a backdrop of beautiful, deep green foliage provide an instant lift for any garden.
With adequate water, these violets accept full sun however they also thrive in shadier, damp areas and are a shade tolerant ground cover.
Growing 15-20cm in height and tolerating light traffic, use Native Violets as a low maintenance, no mow lawn alternative to grass!
Perfect next to a southern wall that receives little light, these plants are spectacular planted at the top of a retaining wall, allowing the flowers to cascade down.
Alternatively, use as a living mulch in a garden bed or pop between pavers to soften the hardscape of the stones. These are great for brightening up shady, damp areas.
